Between those two small retail outlets and what people bought from Steve at his readings, the first printing sold out in 40 days and 40 nights. A second emergency printing sold out twice as fast. People just couldn't seem to get enough of Steve's stories or his books. They were buying books by the dozens.  After such success, Steve decided to devote himself to writing full-time and to getting his stories out to the world. That has been our great good luck.

In 2002 ForeWord Magazine named A Christmas Dozen a Book of the Year Finalist, and in 2003 Writer's Digest awarded it the Honorable Mention for Best Inspirational Book at the 10th International Self-Published Book Awards.
